Shipping Sector Leadership to Counter Wildlife Trafficking in Hong Kong”
The WWF is holding a roundtable virtual forum on Wednesday  10th Nov - 3-4pm for Hong Kong’s shipping community to discuss wildlife trafficking in the maritime sector.
The event is supported by the Hong Kong Shipowners Association (HKSOA), Hong Kong Liner Shipping Association (HKLSA), the Hong Kong Freight Forwarders and Logistics Association, WWF, ADM Capital Foundation and the HKU Faculty of Law. 
Topics that will be covered include:
• Red flags that may indicate the presence of wildlife smuggling in containerized cargo
• Implications of the re-classification of wildlife crime under the Serious and Organized Crime Ordinance by the HKSAR Government
 Tools and responses by governments and private sector  
• Hong Kong’s role in global wildlife trade
