Mr Guy Platten, Secretary General of the International Chamber of Shipping, led a delegation visit to Hong Kong during the maritime week. During the visit, the delegation attended various maritime week activities and met with senior government officials, including Financial Secretary Mr Paul Chan, GBM, GBS, MH, JP and Secretary for Transport and Logistics Mr Lam Sai-hung, GBS, JP to exchange views on issues of interest to the global shipping community and the role of Hong Kong as a leading international maritime centre. The delegation also paid a courtesy visit to the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR. And the delegation attended a welcome lunch hosted by Association Chairman Mr Wellington Koo, JP.

國際航運公會秘書長Guy Platten先生率團到港出席香港海事週。 訪問期間，代表團出席多項海事週活動，並與政府高級官員，包括財政司司長陳茂波先生，大紫荊勳賢，GBS，MH，JP及運輸及物流局林世雄局長，GBS，JP會面，就全球航運業及香港作為主要國際航運中心的角色等議題交換意見。 代表團亦拜訪了中央人民政府駐港聯絡辦公室。 代表團出席了由協會主席顧之灝先生JP安排的歡迎午宴。
