Please find below from SkillsPlus concerning the upcoming programmes. Shipping Risk Management & Derivatives (An Applied Approach) and "Shipping Contracts Management" are Flagship Programs delivered by SkillsPlus.
1. Shipping Risk Management & Derivatives (An Applied Approach) (5th & 6th February 2021, 7 Contact hours) – MATF Refund (Hong Kong) applicable for eligible candidates.
Shipping Professionals employed in Commercial/Chartering/Assets/Risk/Financial functions.
2. Ship Sale & Purchase Part 2 (Advanced) (20th and 27th February 2021, 7 Contact hours) : MATF Refund (Hong Kong) applicable for eligible candidates.
This is a very useful program for anyone involved in any Sale & Purchase Transaction (Commercial, Assets, Risk, Shipmanagement, Legal, Finance and Operations).
A program covering key aspects of Sale forms, implied terms and working together across the functions/departments towards a successful and seamless transaction.
3. Shipping Contracts Management (2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th March 2021, 14 Contact hours): MATF Refund (Hong Kong) applicable for eligible candidates. Singapore: “MCF Training Grant is available for eligible participants. Please refer to www.mpa.gov.sg/mcf for information”.

4. Shipping Disputes & Prevention (13th and 20th March 2021, 7 Contact hours): MATF Refund (Hong Kong) applicable for eligible candidates.
Knowledge and understanding of past disputes and resulting case law, attention to detail and the "look before you leap" attitude can go a long way to save time, money and relationships. This program carefully looks into the Charterparties, bills of lading, liability and bunker issues.
