GUIDELINES FOR DETERMINING MINIMUM PROPULSION POWER TO MAINTAIN THE MANOEUVRABILITY OF SHIPS IN ADVERSE CONDITIONS- MEPC.1/Circ.850/Rev.3

The Marine Environment Protection Committee, at its seventy-sixth session (10 to 17 June 2021), approved amendments to the 2013 Interim Guidelines for determining minimum propulsion power to maintain the manoeuvrability of ships in adverse conditions (MEPC.1/Circ.850/Rev.2) including the change of title to Guidelines for determining minimum propulsion power to maintain the manoeuvrability of ships in adverse conditions.


 


The new Guidelines for determining minimum propulsion power to maintain the manoeuvrability of ships in adverse conditions are set out in the attached annex.


 


The new guidelines, MEPC.1/Circ.850/Rev.3,  revokes MEPC.1/Circ.850/Rev.2.
