Association Greater Bay Maritime Forum - onsite attendance and online participation

I am pleased to let you know that Hong Kong Chief Executive Mrs Carrie Lam will, together with other senior officials, attend the inaugural Greater Bay Maritime Forum, an event of Hong Kong Maritime Week 2021 and Hong Kong Legal Week 2021.

The Forum will be held on Monday, 1 November at 3.30pm to 6.45pm in the Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Centre (s.421).

Please find attached the event programme for reference. At around 6pm, the top officials from the HKSAR Government and Guangzhou Port Authority will deliver their keynote speeches, before the signing of two Memoranda of Understanding in relation to shipping industry cooperation in the Greater Bay Area.

Many of you have already signed up for the event. For members who are interested to join but have yet to enrol, please complete the attached registration form and return it to us as soon as possible. Owing to venue capacity, late registrations may be declined. (On-site attendance is by invitation only and will be free-of-charge.)

If you and/or your colleagues would like to join us online, most welcome too. Please note the following arrangement:

- There is no need to register in advance. Please (simply) log in to the live-stream link www.popcast.tv/GBA-Forum to go into the live streaming site. This site will be in operation on the event day at 3pm (HKT).

- As the official language of the Forum is English, there is a language bar in the live-stream link for the audience to choose either English or Chinese (Putonghua). (The source will be either audio on stage, or from the simultaneous service.)

- There is a live chat button for the online audience to put questions to, or exchange views with, the Forum speakers.
