Maritime and Aviation Training Fund (MATF)

The Association has received enquiries from the membership about the scope and funding criteria of the MATF, given that the government injected an additional sum of $200 million into the Fund early this year. (Please see the attachment for the government submission to the Legislative Council.)
We are now liaising with the Transport and Logistics Bureau on the matter. Since the government is planning to introduce new initiatives within the year to “improve the attractiveness and effectiveness of the MATF”, should you have any queries or suggestions about seeking funding support under the MATF, you may wish to consult the MATF secretariat direct. Or, you may advise me or Captain Nittin Handa, Regulatory Affairs Director. We would be happy to convey members’ views and assist.
