China will no longer require COVID-19 tests for incoming travelers

With effect from 1st September 2023, China will not require COVID-19 tests for all incoming travelers, this was announced by a recent announcement by the General Administration of Customs (No. 106 of 2023) on 29th August 2023 in regard to the adjustment of entry requirements for Health Declaration.

According to the announcement, this was a decision made by the Joint Prevention and Control mechanism of the State Council, and all incoming travelers to China will not be required to present 48-hour nucleic acid or antigen test results of COVID-19 before their departure to China.
