The ICS Secretariat was involved in the International Whales Protection Workshop in Geneva, Switzerland, on 7th November. One outcome of this industry workshop was that WSC created a ‘Whale Chart’ to assist navigators when voyage planning.

The chart indicates all the geographic locations around the world where mammal avoidance restrictions may be in force and the specific guidance.
