HOCC COMMUNICATION – WEBINAR ON NAVIGATIONAL SECURITY IN THE RED SEA AND GULF OF ADEN
The ICS Secretariat has been advised that a number of members have been directly approached by the Humanitarian Operations Coordination Center in Sana , inviting them to a webinar on navigational security in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden in mid-January. As with previous communications from the HOCC it is strongly recommended that this invitation should not be responded to in any way.
It is strongly advised that communications or statements from the HOCC or institutions claiming to be the Yemeni Navy should be disregarded. Guidance on suspicious communications can be found in the Industry Transit advice:
