Members are advised that a consultation is currently underway to assess the risks of carbon leakage attributable to the influence of the EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime regulations. The consultation survey may be accessed here, and the deadline for responses is 9th April.

The ICS Secretariat extends its thanks to ECSA who have shared their submitted responses, see attached link to the survey.

The ICS is encouraging all shipowners to also complete the survey. Also if ship owners have any supporting information or data that could supplement the responses the ICS would be grateful if this could also be shared with fanny.lossy@ecsa.eu and copied to Chris Waddington, ICS Technical Director at chris.waddington@ICS-Shipping.org
