Members are invited to note that the Maritime Industry Security Threat Overview (MISTO), provided at Annex A, has been updated by a coalition of shipping associations, including ICS.

The update takes into consideration recent developments, especially in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Northwest Indian Ocean.

The MISTO should be read in conjunction with Best Management Practices for Maritime Security (BMP MS) and other applicable guidance, all of which can be found at the joint industry website www.maritimeglobalsecurity.org.
