The annual ICS Maritime Barometer surveys risk and confidence amongst maritime leaders. It provides vital information on maritime industry trends and emerging issues for those developing business strategies or formulating the shipping policies and priorities that drive private and public sector decision-making.

To encourage more responses, the ICS is sending some additional assets, see attached links below, to help promote the survey; one social media video with ICS Chairman Emanuele Grimaldi, ICS Chairman Designate John Denholm and ICS Secretary General Thomas Kazakos discussing the benefits of the ICS Barometer Survey, one explainer video with Namrata Nadkarni (Intent Communications) that sets out how to take the survey. Please feel free to use these assets on your own social media channels and outreach to encourage uptake of the survey to ensure it receives as many high-quality responses as possible.

The ICS is seeking responses from maritime leaders who hold c-suite level or c-suite equivalent roles to take part in this survey. Maritime leaders can take the survey via this link: ICS Maritime Barometer Survey 2025-2026.

The deadline for the survey is 27 February 2026.
