Educational Talk on Shaft Power Limitation 18th October 2022 - Hoppe Marine
Circular Ref: O(22)52
Issue Date: 12 Oct 2022
The International Maritime Organisation’s (IMO) new mandatory measures, namely the Energy Efficiency Index for Existing Ships (EEXI) and the Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII), will come into force from 1 January 2023.
With the impending implementation of the measures, shipowners can quickly prepare their fleets for compliance with the help of a SHaPoLi solution designed to meet all technical, operational and timing requirements. SHaPoLi is a cost-effective solution for limiting fuel consumption that allows for easy interpretation and tamper-proof recording of greenhouse gas emissions.
Join Uwe Altenbach from Hoppe Marine as he explains the SHaPoLi system design and its unique features to participants. Preparing a ship for compliance does not have to be a time-consuming and expensive process.
