Following the success of the Seafarers Awards initiative since 2014, a survey has been prepared which the Missions would like to go out to all seafarers aboard Hong Kong-flagged vessels, or owned/managed by Hong Kong companies. The results from the survey go to awarding Hong Kong Ship Owner and Hong Kong Ship Manager 2020 at the Awards Ceremony on 21st January 2021.
This year's survey has gone over to a complete paperless version, powered by Survey Monkey. This means that we will be requesting that you send each of your crew an email or send the QR code to the vessel and seafarers can complete the survey on their own device.
Only one survey can be completed per device as two surveys with the same IP address will be rejected.
The advantage this year to you and your crew in not having a paper submission, is a saving in costs and also you might wish to include crew not on board but those off signers or those waiting to join.
As in years past we will compile the results keeping the outcomes completely confidential. In return each Owner/Manager will be able to receive on request a breakdown of their own companies results. As in the past if any company wishes us to sign an NDA The Mission to Seafarers will be very willing to entertain such requests.
