In case you have not seen the attached Marine Department circular, recently sent out by FAX, please note that the Annual Navigational Safety Seminar has been cancelled due to the current COVID situation and need for social distancing.
However, to promote public awareness of navigational safety the Marine Department have produced a bilingual DVD featuring topics related to maritime safety.
The topics covered are:-
1. Relaxation of Air Draft restrictions at the Tsing Ma Bridge
2. Recent legislative amendments relating to local vessels
3. Precautions when navigating in Hong Kong waters and International regulations form preventing collisions at sea.
4. Marine accidents analysis and recommendations.
