Background

The ICS has arranged a MS Teams meeting on 5th October ( 1400-1500 BST) to discuss the proposed expansion of the Sea Cargo Charter ( SCC) to include shipowners as signatories. Methodological changes to the SCC initiative will also be discussed taking into account the outcome of MEPC 80. There will be a Q&A for ICS members on the Sea Cargo Charter’s proposals to include shipowners in the SCC initiative. This session is designed to give members the opportunity to hear more from the SCC about the proposed changes, as well as ask questions and provide comments on the developments if wished. As an informal information session, this meeting will not constitute formal industry consultation in the development of the Sea Cargo Charter.
