Firstly, I wish everyone a very Happy and prosperous New Year.

The Belt and Road Office of the HKSAR government has asked the Association to nominate members to attend the forthcoming Belt and Road Cross-professional Forum (the Forum), which will be organised on 14 February 2025 (Friday) morning at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The Forum, organised by the Belt and Road Office under the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau, aims to promote Hong Kong’s professional services and foster greater collaboration with enterprises from Belt and Road (B&R) countries and Mainland China to jointly tap new opportunities under the B&R Initiative. Through a plenary roundtable and three breakout exchange sessions, the Forum will feature a diverse range of speakers from Hong Kong’s professional services and enterprises of B&R countries and Mainland China on their strategies to the relevant markets and provide a platform for them to exchange on potential projects and develop connections. It will be conducted in English and Putonghua, and simultaneous interpretation will be provided. The tentative programme and flyer are enclosed for reference.

We request interested members to respond indicating your interest in attending and/or representing the Association at this Forum by 17 January.
