Please be advised that Professor Joost Schokkenbroek, Museum Director of the Hong Kong Maritime Museum will be leaving HKMM on 16 June and Mr Richard Kendall was appointed as CEO recently to take over his responsibilities.

Dear friends in the Maritime Community,
I herewith inform you that I will be leaving the Hong Kong Maritime Museum as per 16 June. The Board has recently appointed Richard Kendall as CEO. Richard has a corporate background – among others with Swire Shipping – and will take over all my responsibilities.
I intend to stay in Hong Kong as long as possible to explore new opportunities and can be reached via jcaschokkenbroek@gmail.com.
Allow me to use this opportunity to thank you all most profoundly for the warm welcome and great support you have given me and the team over the past 27 months.
Hopefully, our paths will cross again another time.
