Through us, the One Planet Foundation (OPF) Shenzhen and WWF-Hong Kong would like to extend invitation to Association members to the Marine Traffic Seminar to be held on 1 April (Saturday) at 4pm to 6pm in Zhuhai/online.
This two-hour seminar consists of expert sharing and a panel discussion session.
The Ministry of Natural Resources has recently released the Guidelines for Impact Assessment of Anthropogenic Underwater Noise on Marine Animal to address underwater noise from coastal and offshore development. The guidelines were formulated basing on ample scientific studies, on-site measurements and observations, and the latest research progress in China and overseas, providing standardised criteria, methods and procedures for subsea noise assessment for the reference of industries.
The seminar will focus on technical experience and knowledge sharing, and discussion of strategies balancing marine region use by the sector and marine wildlife.
