Following up on our previous email, we would like to invite members interested in joining the HKSOA delegation to the ASA AGM. Please find the registration forms provided by ASA below.

Members wishing to attend are kindly requested to submit the completed registration forms to our Secretariat by 16 March 2026.

Please also take note of the following important information from the Organiser (CISOA):

Accommodation
CISOA recommends that delegates stay at one of the hotels listed on page 4 of the Cook Islands Guide (Annex 3) and book their rooms directly. CISOA also encourages delegates to undertake their own reseaarch, as a wide range of hotels, resorts, Airbnbs, and small apartments or bungalows are available for rental; however, delegates are advised to book early to secure accomodation.

Travel and Visa Information
The Cook Islands offers visa-free entry for many nationalites, including visitors from New Zealand (90 days), Australia (31 days) and India (31 days). Allowing stays from 31 to 90 days typically, provided that travelers hold a passport valid for 6+ months, return tickets, funds, and accomodation proof. While specific visa-free lists vary, most nationalities get visitor entry without pre-arranged visas, just needing to meet standard *entry requirements upon arrival in Rarotonga.

*Entry Requirments : 1) Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the stay; 2) Proof of onward/return travel and accomodation; 3) Sufficent funds for the duration of the stay.

The Cook Islands Shipowners’ Association (CISOA) will host the Asian Shipowners’ Association (ASA) AGM and International Shipping Forum from 24-27 May 2026 in the Cook Islands.

We would like to invite members to participate as part of the HKSOA delegation. Please find attached the programme rundown for members’ information.
