Members are advised that the French administration has commissioned an independent study from the World Maritime University (WMU).

The objective of the study is to better understand and objectively assess the strengths and weaknesses of the Data collection system for fuel oil consumption (DCS), and to prepare for its future development. Therefore, the WMU are inviting shipowners to complete an online questionnaire which may be accessed here.

The WMU request responses to be submitted by 31st December 2025.
