Tightening measures for air crew and sea crew members during COVID-19

Some of you might have already been informed by the Hong Kong Marine Department that the Government would tighten the testing and isolation arrangements for (air crew members and) sea crew members of goods vessels entering Hong Kong for cargo operations, among people of other exempted categories, from 20 February 2021 onwards.

While the measures are deemed essential by the Government (and health experts) to minimise the risk of the spreading of virus in the community, we understand that concerned shipping companies and agents would need to address several issues to comply with the new rules and regulations.
