The HKSOA and ICS welcomes the news from the UKHO, after a period of intense lobbying on behalf of industry, to postpone the decisions to withdraw paper charts by 2026.
The UKHO plans to withdraw the portfolio of ADMIRALTY Standard Nautical Charts (SNCs) has been postponed until at least 2030. The decision has been made following consultation with the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA), national user groups and industry.
