Members may recall the difficulties that some ship owners have been encountering when reporting the position of offshore loading operations under EU ETS. This has been due to such facilities (e.g. FPSOs, FSOs, FLNGs etc) not always having UN/LOCODE positions. The attached information from ECSA confirms a recent update of the UN/LOCODE list, which should alleviate this problem.

Details are provided of how stakeholders may submit further proposed UN/LOCODE positions.
