HKSOA convened a meeting between Korea Maritime Institute (KMI) along with Korea Shipowners Association (KSA) with Anglo-Eastern in Hong Kong. Korea Maritime Institute is undertaking a study (commissioned by KSA) to review the processes of Korean Ship Registry and find ways for improvement. Anglo-Eastern and HKSOA participated in this study to provide KMI with a benchmark based on experience in dealing with Hong Kong Ship Registry. Both parties exchanged valuable experiences with the KMI found very helpful in their study.

香港船東會在香港召集了韓國海事研究所 (KMI) 和韓國船東協會 (KSA) 與 中英船舶(Anglo-Eastern) 的會議。 KMI正在受KSA委託進行一項研究，以審查KMI的流程並尋找改進方法。 Anglo-Eastern 和 香港船東會參與了這項研究，以根據與香港船舶註冊處打交道的經驗為 KMI 提供基準。 雙方在KMI交流了寶貴的經驗，認為對他們的研究很有幫助。
