The Luncheon and Award Presentation Ceremony 2026 was jointly hosted by the Hong Kong Shipowners Association (HKSOA) and the Marine Department (MD) to appreciate and recognise the support of shipowners and shipping companies. Around 240 representatives and distinguished guests from maritime sector came to support this annual event.

We were honoured to have the Under Secretary for Transport and Logistics, Mr Liu Chun-san, JP acted as the Guest of Honour and delivered a keynote speech at the luncheon. He announced that the MD would launch the Port Dues Incentive Scheme for Green Maritime Fuel-related Vessels and the Green Vessels Registration Incentive Scheme on 16 June 2026.

A special award, “2026 MD-WMMF ESG Award” was first introduced this year to motivate more Hong Kong shipowners and operators to actively champion green and environmental practices by adopting the WMMF Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Rating Standards 2.0.

由香港船東會與海事處合辦的午餐會暨頒獎典禮，旨在感謝和表彰船東和航運公司的支持，約共有240位來自航運界的代表和貴賓出席支持這年度盛會。

協會很榮幸邀請到運輸及物流局副局長廖振新先生 JP擔任主禮嘉賓，並在午餐會上致詞。他宣布海事處將於六月十六日推出「綠色船用燃料相關船隻港口費優惠計劃」及「綠色船舶註冊優惠計劃」。

今年首度增設特別獎項「2026海事處-世界航商大會ESG獎」，以鼓勵更多香港船東及營運商積極採用世界航商大會ESG評級標準2.0，推動綠色環保實踐。
