The luncheon is organized annually to recognise the contribution of Hong Kong shipowners to the success of the Hong Kong Shipping Register (HKSR), as well as providing a occasion for social networking and for meeting with staff members in the Marine Department.
During the luncheon, the following awards will be presented:
a) Award for the company with the highest GT on HKSR by end 2025
b) Award for the company which placed the most GT on the HKSR during the year 2025
c) Award for outstanding performance in port State control (PSC) for the year of 2025
d) Award for Bravery on Hong Kong registered ship
e) Green Fleet Award
f) Award for the company recruiting the most Hong Kong sea-going cadets
g) MD – WMMF ESG Award for sustainability efforts on green and environmental practices and social responsibilites
