HKSOA Delegation Visit to Shanghai
Mr. Kenneth Koo, Chairman of China Sub-Committee, led an Association delegation visit to Shanghai on 7-9th June 2017. The delegation, with 27 participants, met with the Shanghai Municipal Government, Shanghai Municipal Transport Commission, Pudong New Area District Government, Hong Kou District Government and Yangshan Deep Water Port, China COSCO Shipping Group, Shanghai Maritime University, Shanghai International Shipping Institute, China Exim Bank Shanghai Branch and Shanghai Shipowners Association. The delegation was impressed by the achievements of Shanghai in its role as an international shipping centre, and expressed sincere wish that Shanghai and Hong Kong could make full use of their strengths and work together for the mutual benefits of the two cities. The delegation and several parties in Shanghai also reached consensus in building collaborative platforms for maritime research and training.
香港船東會代表團訪問上海 2017年6月7-9日，香港船東會中國委員會主席顧建綱先生率領香港船東會代表團訪問上海。代表團合共27人，拜會了上海市人民政府、上海市交通委員會、浦東新區人民政府、虹口區人民政府，以及洋山深水港、中國遠洋海運集團、上海海事大學、上海國際航運研究中心、中國進出口銀行及上海船東協會。代表團對上海近年在建設國際航運中心方面取得的驕人成績深表讚賞和祝賀。衷心希望上海和香港能夠優勢互補、共同發展，在不同區域發揮更大作用。此次上海之行，代表團與一些拜訪單位初步達成了推進滬港航運研究及培訓方面的合作意向。
