On 19 to 22 October, the China Subcommittee of the Hong Kong Shipowners Association (HKSOA) led a delegation of over 20 industry representatives on a visit to Shanghai to attend the annual North Bund Forum and Shanghai Pudong International Shipping Week 2026. HKSOA also co-organised the “Shanghai-Hong Kong Cooperation Development Exchange (2026)” with the Shanghai Shipowners’ Association. Through keynote speeches and panel discussions, industry representatives from both cities reviewed the latest market trends and developments, and explored the opportunities for Shanghai-Hong Kong shipping cooperation.

During the stay, the delegation visited the Hongkou District Government of Shanghai and the Shanghai Municipal Transportation Commission for technical and information exchanges on a wide range of issues. The delegation also visited Baowu Resources Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Changjiang Shipping Co. Ltd. for business networking. The programme was useful and constructive, laying a solid foundation for further cooperation between Hong Kong and Shanghai shipping sectors.

香港船東會中國委員會於10月19日至22日，率領20多名業界成員訪問上海，出席上海航運界的年度盛事 — 「北外灘國際航運論壇」及「2026上海浦東國際航運周」，並且與上海船東協會聯合主辦「滬港航運合作發展交流會(2026)」。通過主旨演講及專題討論，兩地代表就市場最新形勢及發展，探討滬港航運合作的機遇與挑戰。

訪問期間，代表團也拜會了上海市虹口區政府及上海市交通委員會，就多個議題進行技術交流與信息交流。此外，代表團拜訪了寶武資源有限公司及上海長江輪船有限公司，與業界同行深入交流。此行行程緊密且成果豐碩，為進一步推動滬港兩地航運業的合作奠定堅實基礎。
