The Hong Kong Shipowners Association, together with the Maritime Talent Cultivation Alliance, led a study tour to Guangzhou. Representatives from the Alliance members attended the main event for the Pearl River region — 2026 “GBA Maritime Week” and “Maritime Day of China”. The delegation visited the Phase IV automated terminal at Nansha Port and the Guangzhou Seafarer Competency Assessment Demonstration Center. Through this one-day tour, they witnessed the rapid evolution of the GBA’s maritime sector in recent years.
