We conducted a press conference on 4 August about our recommendations to be submitted to the Government.

During the press conference, we also responded to press enquiries on the recent Middle East crisis. We maintained the HKSOA position that as always, the welfare of the stranded seamen would remain the top priority of the shipping community.

There was extensive coverage from the English and Chinese media (both print and electronic).
