A joint webinar on decarbonisation and green shipping was held by HKSOA, International Chamber of Shipping and Guangdong Provincial Shipowners’ Association. This was the first event held after the signing of a memorandum of cooperation by the three parties during Hong Kong Maritime Week 2021. Participants included many shipping personalists from Europe, Asia, Hong Kong and other parts of China. The webinar discussed issues on environmental regulations and their social responsibility and financial implications for the shipping industry, and the industry’s efforts to achieve 40% efficiency improvement by the existing world fleet by 2030.

2022年4月27日，香港船東會、國際航運公會和廣東省船東協會聯合舉辦了脫碳和綠色航運網絡研討會。這是自2021年香港海運週期間，三方簽署合作備忘錄後舉行的首次活動。來自歐洲、亞洲、中國內地和香港地區的多名代表出席本次線上研討會。研討會討論了環境法規、社會責任和航運財務影響等問題，以及航運業如何實現為現有世界船隊在2030年前促進40%能效等。
