Members are invited to consider the draft guidance for Safe Management of Vessel Transit Through the Strait of Hormuz, provided at Annex A, which has been developed by Intertanko based on the concept of the resumption of transits in the event of a ceasefire in the region.

This document could form a basis for joint industry guidance for a “Best Management Practice” for ships transiting the area, following the announcement of the two-week ceasefire earlier yesterday.
